The consultation application is not a sales pitch.
See my guarantee below.
Thank you for having the initial confidence that I may be of service to you.
If you’ve already decided that I can help you meet your challenges, you can skip the fine print. Click here to skip to the application form.
If you’re not sure, read on to find out what it will cost (nothing), what you’re committed to do (nothing) and how I guarantee that it won’t be a waste of your time (this unique approach will astonish you!)
You’re right to be a skeptic (psst – I am too!) You may think that filling out the form will just subject you to a flood of email demanding that you listen to my sales pitch. Absolutely not. You do not need to make any investment to submit the application, and the initial consultation is not a sales pitch – the double-your-money guarantee sees to that!
Because of that guarantee, I need to make sure I can satisfy your needs and expectations, and ensure that it will be worth my time to provide that support. My criterion for that is a good probability that you can achieve 10x your investment in any support you obtain from me. The form gives me a basic understanding of the challenge you are facing so I can evaluate whether I’m even the right person to help you in your goals and/or prepare for an initial no-obligations call to confirm how we might be able to work together. Then here is how the process would work:
- Apply: You complete the application form
- Screen: I’ll use that information to see whether I’m going to be able to help you. If not, I’ll try to refer you to someone who might be more suitable.
- Assess: If I think I can help you, we’ll have a short, no-obligations chat to make sure we are on the same page. If you just had a simple question it might get resolved in this call! Yes, if you want to think of it that way, this is a sales meeting as we will be determining if I have an offering that will meet your need.
- Decide: You decide that my help is worth you time and money. You make the appointment and pay the fee.
- Plan: We have our first 30-minute consulting call. See the guarantee below. One way or another, you will receive value from this call!
- Execute: We spend the next few weeks or months carrying out our plan and achieving your goal.
Guarantee
I mentioned a UNIQUE guarantee. Here it is: as long as you do make an effort to engage during the first consultation, then if you decide that it was not worth your time, I will pay you. That’s right, I will pay you up to $100 for your time, because I will certainly learn something from you during the 30-minute call.
Obviously, I can’t have thousands of people signing up for consultations just so they can say it wasn’t worth it and make $100. I also can’t spend time preparing some initial thoughts on the challenges in front of you and blocking time out of my schedule for calls that never happen. So I use the application form to make sure that I can help you.
Then we’ll have a brief confirmation call prior to setting up the actual appointment. This may be me or an assistant. We’re just confirming your interest because … well, sometimes people prank each other and you had no idea you’d “submitted” any application. Or maybe I didn’t really understand your problem based on the application form. Then you’ll schedule the time when you want to have the call, and the initial consultation fee is paid at that time.
Here’s the unique part: As long as the consultation happens (with up to 2 reschedules, because I know things do come up), and as long as we have a reasonable engagement on the call, then if at the end of that call you tell me that it was not a good use of your time and why not (i.e. what did you expect to get out of it that you did not) then I will immediately and without question refund you whatever you paid (either for a one-time call or a consulting program), and MATCH it up to $100 to compensate you for the time you took to educate me. The only thing that I will ask is that you post a comment on Decision Integration website (this site) confirming that we agreed that I would not be able to help you and you received this guaranteed double-or-nothing refund.
Again, I ask for the initial fee only after reviewing the application form to see if there is even any value in continuing and after a brief chat with you. Maybe your challenge gets resolved in those 15 minutes (it happens!). For going forward into more detail, you can always decide not to pay the application fee and not to schedule the call.
If this sounds fair, please click this link to complete the application, and let’s get started!
If it doesn’t seem like a very fair deal, I’d really like some feedback as to why not (or you can also use that link to ask any additional questions you may have).
[If you are in the EU, I am required to make you aware that I do collect your email address in this process. I will use it to contact you with regard to the initial appointment and any additional interactions we agree on. I will also use it to send you periodic e-mail-based newsletters from which you may decide to opt out, even if you continue as a consultation client, or you may decide to continue to receive even if you are not a consulting client]. You may unsubscribe at any time. However, if you elect to opt-out of all e-mail communication, it may not be possible for you to drive further value from the programs you have signed up for. There will be no refund if you make that choice.
